About Us

History of Sweet Bites Bakery & Café

2006 - Tired of working for a large corporation, where nobody knows your name, Caitlin Adler created Sweet BitesTM All Natural Decadent Desserts wholesale line. Product line includes the Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Orgasmatron(R) and California Bar “Like a Blondie…but Better”TM  and are currently available on-line and in gourmet gift stores.

2007 - While looking for a larger place to produce her wholesale desserts Caitlin discovered the town of Acton and what is now Sweet Bites Bakery & Café. Noticing how few bakery cafés were around she decided to join forces with Chris Vuich, a well-known Boston chef to open Sweet Bites Bakery & Café.

Caitlin has over ten years of baking experience working in world-renowned and award winning hotels and restaurants, including the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston and Palm Beach. Chris has 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, working primarily in the Boston area. He helped open and operate Rustic Kitchen’s restaurants in Boston and Hingham as well as many of Todd English’s restaurants including Figs in Chestnut Hill, Olives in Charlestown and Kingfish Hall in Boston.

The foundation of everything we do here at Sweet Bites Bakery & Café starts with the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Mission

To be the one-stop shop for gourmet entertaining and gift-giving needs.

What exactly does this mean?

1. We are a coffee shop for the anti-Star****‘s crowd. We have FREE wifi. We are definitely not from a corporate cookie cutter mold.

2. We are a bakery. All our sweets are made from scratch using only the highest-quality ingredients.

3. We are a café, caterer, and mini-grocery store. We are crazy about food. Everything is made from scratch, even the mozzarella cheese. We serve breakfast and lunch and on Sundays pajama brunch as well. We have a case full of savory foods available by the pound that changes often.

4. We are an art gallery. The art work changes every six weeks and we often have five to six artists exhibiting at once.

5. We are a gift shop. We sell Polish pottery and greeting cards.

6. Open Mike Nights: Three Tuesdays a month we are open until 9:30pm for live music and poetry readings.
